What it is
Avantix FMS is a web-based fleet, rental and service management system for companies that sell, rent, loan and service forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE) in Malaysia. It keeps every unit's status, rental contract, countdown, service history and customer in one place, and it's made by Avantix Innovation Sdn. Bhd. in Penang.
Your fleet lives in three places. None of them agree.
The yard whiteboard says one thing. The rental spreadsheet says another. The real answer is somewhere in a WhatsApp group.

Pricing visibility is set per role on the Configuration page. Admin always sees prices, and hidden fields are protected on the server.
Tab access goes further: a role can see only the Available and Rental tabs, and not Sold or Demo.

Each role gets create, read, update and delete rights, access to specific pages, and even specific unit tabs such as Sold or Demo. The checks run on the server, not only on screen.

What is Avantix FMS?
Avantix FMS is a web-based fleet, rental and service management system for companies that sell, rent, loan and service forklifts and other material handling equipment in Malaysia. It keeps every unit's status, rental contract, countdown and service record in one place. It is made by Avantix Innovation Sdn. Bhd. in Penang.
Is Avantix FMS a GPS tracker or telematics system?
No. Avantix FMS does not use GPS or sensors and nothing is installed on the forklifts. It is the office system for units, contracts, customers and service. It works with any brand of forklift, and it can sit alongside a telematics product if you already use one.
Which equipment can it manage?
Forklifts (diesel, LPG, petrol, electric lead-acid and lithium), reach trucks, order pickers, tow trucks and other material handling equipment. Each unit records capacity, fuel type, mast type, lift height, fork size, attachment, chassis and engine numbers and any extra fields you add.
How does rental billing work?
When you save a rental, Avantix FMS creates one invoice schedule row per month of the rental period, using the monthly rate. Your team ticks each row when it is collected and notes who collected it. The schedule tells your team what to bill and when; invoices themselves are issued from your accounting system.
How are service dates scheduled?
For a rental unit, the next service date is calculated from the rental start date plus the service interval (for example every 1, 2, 3 or 4 months). For a sold unit, it is calculated from the delivery date. Each job card records the hour meter, parts, labour and attachments, and sets the next service date.
What happens when a reservation, demo or loan runs out?
Every reserved, demo and on-loan (FOC) unit shows a countdown such as 4 days left, Due today or 3 days overdue. Expired reservations are released back to Available automatically. When you end a demo, the system raises a Forklift Collection Required alert so someone goes to fetch the unit.
Can I stop some staff from seeing rental rates?
Yes. You choose which roles can see pricing, such as rate fields and invoice amounts. Each role also has create, read, update and delete rights, plus access to specific pages and unit tabs.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Avantix FMS runs in a web browser on a computer or tablet. There is no hardware to fit on the forklifts.
Is there a mobile app?
Avantix FMS is used in the browser. It has a documented API that a future mobile app can use; talk to us if a mobile app matters for your team.
What is the MyHIJAU marker on a unit?
MyHIJAU is Malaysia's official green product recognition, managed by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC). In Avantix FMS you can flag lithium units that carry the MyHIJAU Mark, so your sales team can find them quickly when a buyer asks. The flag is a record in your system, not a certification.
